Moon County has some live shows coming up, which will most likely be heavily promoted here as they approach. The first is this Sunday night at 11 PM on the iO West’s MainStage. It’s a full half-hour of new and original Moon County material, followed directly by binge drinking to celebrate no work on Monday.
The second is also at the iO as part of their Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival. In its 7th year they decided to add a no-holds-barred, single-elimination tournament of sketch cagematch champions. Teams will compete one-on-one through three rounds. The winning group will receive fame, glory, and meetings with some major casting executives and departments (including those of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Curb Your Enthusiasm). The early rounds are based on audience votes, so we’ll need as much support as we can get. Our opening slot is Tuesday, June 2nd at 11 PM. Tell everyone you know.
