Moon County Live!
Moon County has some live shows coming up, which will most likely be heavily promoted here as they approach.  The first is this Sunday night at 11 PM on the iO West’s MainStage.  It’s a full half-hour of new and original Moon County material, followed directly by binge drinking to celebrate no work on Monday. Tetris Sprint →
For better or worse I’ve discovered another internet distraction.  This site has a few Tetris games to choose from, but I find the “Tetris Sprint” to be the best while at work.  You can reach the 40-line goal in roughly 3 minutes, so it’s not all consuming. Unless, of course, you play it repeatedly trying to best yourself.  My current high (or low) is 2:42.

azizisbored: I went with a friend of mine to see Star Trek: The IMAX Experience at the AMC Theatre in Burbank today. I drove out of my way to see the film on the large IMAX screen and paid an extra $5 for the ticket, which felt worth it at the time. HOWEVER, we get in the theatre and its just a slightly bigger than normal screen and NOT the usual standard huge 72 ft IMAX screen. I was very upset...

This weekend Katelyn and I decided to hike some of the trails in Malibu-adjacent Topanga Canyon.  We took a wrong turn at an unmarked junction and ended up stranded on top of a mountain for several hours.  I ask that you all collectively shake your fists at this picture.
